Larsen Ortho-Acoustic loudspeakers

Larsen loudspeakers have been around since 2007. http://www.larsenhifi.com/en/info.htm
The Larsen Ortho-Acoustic speakers are designed to be placed flat up against a wall, yet still offer balanced bass and wide staging with near unlimited off-axis listening ability. The only thing one needs to watch is that the side with the bass driver is not placed close to a wall or other solid object.
One unique about these speakers is that conventional speakers are designed for and tested in anechoic chambers. Larsen speakers are designed and constructed to thrive in normal rooms by using the surface reflections instead of letting the early reflections degrade the sound.

I’ve heard both the Larsen 8 and 6. In my opinion I found the bass to be well-balanced and not overwhelming though not super detailed, but also not muddy. Mids were articulate and the highs were non-fatiguing. The source was both CD and turntable. I found them to have wide good staging and excellent off axis listening.

The line comes in 3 different sizes, The 4, the 6 and the 8. Only the 8 is a bit beyond the “affordable” range here at IATM.
