The Auralic Aries Mini is a wireless streaming node designed for connecting to your existing home audio system. It not only has shared all software and hardware functions coming from original ARIES, but also equipped with additional high quality analog output and optional hard drive slot for anyone whom don’t want to invest for a dedicate DSD DAC and NAS drive. Basically, it is an audio version of a Roku only almost five times the price. Here’s more info: http://www.auralic.com/en/

Technics ST-C700 Network Audio Player

technics-st-c700-front-top-600px Technics ST-C700 Network Audio Player http://www.technics.com/us/products/c700/st-c700.html This item is borderline in cost, but if the majority of your listening is in the digital realm, then this might be worth it.
Technics is really coming back into their own these days. It’s not just that they are now making digital audio devices, but they are giving a nice retro look to them. They are coming back with the retro look on all their new gear. For instance the new amp even has old school style meters. (I’m not listing the amp though as it is into the five figure range and beyond the scope of this site). Nice job on all the gear though Technics.
